Thank you for your comment. We have a rather unfortunate columnist on
this side too. Makes you wonder...
Until a recent layoff I also worked for Sound Publishing as a
Salesperson for The Kitsap Free Daily. Were you at the Emerald Queen
Casino for training last month? (I can't recall if it was solely sales
that were invited...)
I have a question for you. My brother is a teacher at Redmond Junior
HIgh and Thursday a student collapsed. My brother and another teacher
performed CPR until medics arrived. It did not look good for the
student, I recall that his heart and respiration could not be
stabilized, and eventually he was able to be transported to Children's
hospital. Apparently he is improving, and the staff at RJH really
saved a life that day.
Is this something you think would make an interesting story for the
Reporter? The whole thing just knocks my socks off. My brother's name
is Chris Broderick. I do not remember the other teacher's name (or was
it the Principal?) At any rate I have been watching for the story on
your website and thought I'd suggest it to you.

This is a disturbing "joke". You should use your talents for good and not for perpetuating ignorance.

I love humor, but this column is mean, uninformed, callous; it is not humor.
I am gravely disappointed in the Redmond Reporter on this count. This is ugly-Americanism through and through.
