Also, in a more practical sense: I'm always struck that when an organization focuses only on numbers, it will always hit a ceiling where it can't do any more. And right before that moment, an organization is trying to do too much with too few resources leading to higher stats but lower quality of service. And he doesn't just care about it, he does the work required to see the differences through. He's had a tremendous impact on LITA and I am certain that he will continue and make a larger impact as Director at Large. I would also love to see what he does for ALA in a Councilor at Large position.
