Go about my merry way to shop, trying to console my child, but somethings just can't be helped. If I needed something at the store, any store, and with the chances that one of my 5 kids were upset and crying, I'd still do what I had to do; otherwise I'd never be able to get to the store. If a person, male or female, took it upon themselves to discipline any of my children...you bet I'd be pressing charges! Go Wal-Mart mom!!! People who don't want to "deal" with cranky kids should alter their schedules to shop to a time of day when the kids should be in bed. Go shopping after 8 pm.
