Couldn't agree more, I think HR who judge are just simply playing the wrong side. HR is very important to keep the employees productive and at ease.

Not just consistency you to need to keep up. The content of your portfolio too. You have to keep it clean and professional, you don't want your managers to see your drunken debacle from your social media.

The big question is where to start looking? You could start in social media, it's very popular and keep in touch with your network. Now how to write a resume? Just keep it clean and professional. No grammar errors, no I and me statement, and use specific figures when you can.

Before you send your resume you might want to polish it first. Make sure that when you send it, you'll get that interview. In this case, it sounds more right to keep in touch prior to sending your resume, just to introduce yourself and check if their qualifications then you can cater your resume template to their needs.

If I'm in this position, I know I shouldn't worry because if I'm the hiring manager I would hire older generation because they can get the job better as long it's not physically related. And wouldn't worry with my resume either knowing that there are tons of free resume builder with great resume wizard so if you know your way around you should be doing great.
