As helpful as they are they always seem very uneasy, like I was doing something I wasn't suppose to (or better, not doing what I was suppose to). The world teaches that everyday has to be productive and purposeful, and the reality is that everyone needs a day or two on a regular basis to totally and completely slack off. It's not only to rest or open our minds, it's to remind us why we are productive, why we are being purposeful, and why it feels good to be that way. What the world has forgotten is that "slacker days" are a necessity. I think from now on I am purposefully going to take a slacker day every so many days just so I can remember why I am doing what I do.
