I know exactly what you mean- we went from two income, no kids, to one (dimished) income, and three kids within a matter of months!
I started using cloth diapers, making my own laundry soap, and even tried to start a garden (but who was I kidding- I don't have that kind of time:) I am starting to do some research about couponing and meal planning now. Seems to be the next step. It's hard to find the best deals when you are lucky to get out of the house to get to a store at all, let alone to bargain hunt.
Check out Baby Cheapkate.com, and tipnut.com for some DIY projects that can save you some money.

I don't know.. my kids turned two last week, and it is as if someone flipped a switch. I mean, they were tricky before but I have seen some seriously naughty behavior in the past week that I am completely baffled by. If three is harder than two, I may have to start looking for a therapist now... for me:)

If I had a Flip phone when I was 8.. it would have captured my brother, as an upside-down man, and me as a ladybug. Later on the upside down man would rough me up and steal most of my candy. Ugh.. older brothers, I tell ya.

I don't know. I certainly don't 'judge', it is simply not my place, but I don't understand how, as a parent, you can feel as if you are spending enough time with each child individually when you have that many. I have triplets and I already feel guilty because I only get the opportunity to spend one on one time with them about once a week (no family in town unfortunately). I think kids need more than that to feel loved and valued as an individual. Sure, there are some people with less kids that probably spend less time with them than the Duggars do- and I don't understand that either. I just personally don't think it's fair to the kids. Just because it is your legal right to do something doesn't mean you should it.

I never thought about it- but that is SO true.. except the part about trying to get out fast- I have had one too many near collisions with the people on the other side waiting to get IN, so now I hang back and make sure nobody is going to steamroll me:)
