Ooh, that gave me goosebumps!! I love this, and I think it's the *exact* attitude we all need to have. I realized a couple years ago that before I could make any big changes in the world around me, I had to change myself first. I had to learn that my dreams won't always be fulfilled, my goals won't always be reached, my efforts won't always be noticed, and my time won't always be spent wisely. But if I am able to change this world in one small way - through making someone smile, recycling a few plastic bottles, planting some trees, etc... then I can be happy, knowing that I have made a difference. And all those little differences may just add up to one very big difference. Thanks for sharing this, Nate! And thanks to the Ohio State senior! (Go Buckeyes!)

1. Learn how to love my life completely and totally, 100%
2. Maintain a strong and loving marriage
3. Help my parents and siblings in any and every way possible
4. Bring happiness to people whenever possible
5. Have fun! -even if it does mean putting off homework or spending $$ (you only live once, after all)

This post puts into words the exact sentiments and feelings I have for this group and our mission. I am so honored to be a part of this group & to have an opportunity to change the world -- whether by a smile on a stranger's face, a flower planted in a garden, the love given to a family member, or words of encouragement I can provide to someone suffering -- it's all important, and it all matters.

I love hearing stories like this! Thanks for sharing Nate! And thanks for doing all you do Avery - I've been to Claim Jumper once and it was fantastic! Haven't seen any out here in Ohio though :(
