I’m going to be moving to KL from Australia in a couple of months. If you were going to do that move again, would you stock up on anything before you went (clothes, cosmetics, homewares, etc)? Not sure what’s good to buy there versus here.

The girls were riding high after converting one of their greatest haters into a fan - but as the song goes, every rose has its thorn. The girls became tangled in web of jealousy. Did DJK prefer one girl over the others? Which of them would get to wear the I HEART DJK shirt? And what was left for them to strive for? They'd lost their drive and it'd seemed they'd forgotten what they'd ever started for.

DJK - WELCOME! We had a hunch it was you, but then I became certain after you referenced Jack Purcells in a comment and had simultaneously posted something about them on your blog too.

I think I was quite clear in that poking is not a good way to show interest in me -- but from the sound of it, Jackie likes a little poking from time to time.

@Ted You're absolutely right. Although I certainly take pride in having raised a poodle and a lime tree, I've got no frame of reference for the challenges of the motherhood.

My joke about mommy bloggers playing hardball stemmed from the fact that I have the sweetest, most nurturing mom who still tries to coddle me from a thousand miles away.

The movie Children of Men gives a pretty accurate view of where we'd be without 'em.

@alisa Don't get me wrong, I totally agree with you that his recovery from a stroke '04 has been amazing and inspiring. But ya know, it's a NYE special, it's supposed to be fun and lighthearted...

On one channel you've got Kathy Griffin shouting profanities at people in the crowd while AC chuckles nervously, on another you have Carson and a load of people making out in the Nivea kissing station (ewww). Then you switch over to ABC and Dick Clark - and well, it's just a bit of a downer. He's not the eternal teenager he used to be.

If only my childhood had coincided with the age of digital cameras - I'd be able to link to my 4th grade school picture in which I'm doning a Levi's black and blue plaid shirt in front of the edgy electric blue background.

I think that the angle combined with my slutwear (it's Banana Republic, who woulda thought?!) are working wonders, because I have never once in my ENTIRE LIFE had to worry about cleav. That, or maybe santa brought my present a little early this year.
