Daredevil is the central character, but you'd also have Danny Rand, Luke Cage, Misty etc. And in later seasons the Black Panther. Season one would allow for you to introduce everybody and end the season with Daredevil being sentenced to jail, leading to a Devil in C Block season two.

Re: Darren Aronofsky Exits ‘The Wolverine’

this. basically.

Re: Darren Aronofsky Exits ‘The Wolverine’

The custody battle thing makes the story a little more believable, but my first thought when hearing about this was that the studio was pressuring Aronofsky for a more "marketable" or "teen friendly" and when he refused, they forced him out with a bullshit excuse.

Re: Are The New ‘X-Men: First Class’ Posters the Worst Studio-Released Posters of the Year So Far?

The Thor posters were almost equally bad. Rather than actually voice acting (like Carrell) he came off as somebody doing an intentionally bad or mocking impersonation among a group of friends.

Re: First Look: Russell Brand as an Animated Easter Bunny in ‘Hop’

I thought it was borderline impossible to suck as a voice actor but Russell Brand in Despicable Me was about the worst voice acting I had ever seen.

Re: AMC Now Serving Food In Theater, Alamo Drafthouse Style

How we ever managed to watch a movie without the possibility to order a caesar salad I'll never understand.

Re: Matthew Libatique Will Shoot ‘Wolverine 2′ for Darren Aronofsky

I'm really REALLY worried about this movie. I mean sure, on paper it sounds great, but so did Gavin Hood and it was a mess, supposedly because of too much studio interference.

Now, they have Aronofsky at the helm and I just don't think the studio heads have the nerves to keep their hands off. They'll panic and say "OMG we hired an edgy indie director, he's not going to make it mainstream enough!" and start interfering. In the end, they'll make it WORSE than what would have happened if they had just given it to somebody like Michael Bay and trusted the director.

Re: Disney Already Has Three Live-Action Marvel TV Series in Development

That makes sense. Elektra's death would make a great season finale, too. "The Devil in C Block" storyline could be a season of its own, sort of like how they had a new theme for each season in "Prison Break".

I still say the Heroes for Hire need to be involved in some of the case of the week filler episodes to keep it interesting =)

Re: ‘The Walking Dead’ Renewed For Thirteen-Episode Second Season

“I wish all programming decisions were no brainers like this one,” said Sharon Tal Yguado, SVP Scripted Programming.

He's here all week! Actually, they might as well just go with a show called Hell's Kitchen where Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Misty, Elektra and even the Black Panther would sort of take turns in carrying the episodes. They might have to warp the canon a bit to make it work, but it might be intriguing.

Re: Due Date – What Did You Think?

Yeah, I'm with Truman_Leonard. Went in with high, high expectations, but walked out feeling disappointed. It had a few moments that really made me laugh, but overall the story didn't really have the feel of a journey that a buddy comedy like this would need. And by journey, you could say it was lacking both as a spiritual journey as well as a geographical journey. They could have played with location and the importance of getting closer and closer a lot more. Location really felt irrelevant here. You didn't really feel the growth of the main characters, it sort of happened all of a sudden. Guess they thought they could pull this off on talent alone.

Re: U.S. Movie Trailer: The Illusionist

Saw it at TIFF. It was breathtaking at times, but unevenly paced. The simplistic storytelling worked, but for the most part the narrative felt a bit dated (figures, since it's a remake from the 60s). Was expecting a bit more, considering the hype. Great ending, though.

Re: POTD: ESPN Magazine Imagines NBA Players As Marvel Superheroes

Yeah, I kinda see what they did there.

Re: Joss Whedon Says Black Widow “Will Not Be The Only Female Character” in The Avengers

when I heard the Avengers would be made into a movie, my first reaction was that the Ultimates story arc/world would be the one which would make the most sense or at least would be the most interesting.
