i beg to differ vinni, i think they will be in negative for 2 or 3 years..... this is what one of the top IPL official said to TOI...........

“It is natural for any business to break even in a couple of years. IPL is a big venture and it’s certainly going to do wonder to the world of cricket”

Hey, i am using disqus for sometime now ...........i was convincing my friends using wordpress to make the switch but they where pointing towards the bug........i guess know i can push them to switch from ID to Disqus..........cool man........

match fixing !!! hmm................ ;-) now a days anything can happen..............but i guess the franchisees are so rich and powerful, that they will think 10 times before fixing IPL matches..........

Indians may well become a powerhouse in T20 version due to IPL, But what about ODI's and Test's ? ODI's and Test are altogether different ball game, if we want to do better in these format of the game then IPL wont be of any help to us, on the contrary it may even harm our chance of doing well in ODI's and test.
Moreover where are players gonna find time to play so much cricket..........and also they will need sometime to recuperated which courtesy IPL now they wont get it (May and April as the time when players spend time rebuilding them self)
