The tombs are not depicted on any map in the canon that I know. I presume that they are north of Rivendell in the Misty Mountains, probably within the defeated realm of Angmar.

What browser are you using? I tried to get a broad spectrum to work, but I haven’t tested all of them.

The Starkhorn is south of Írensaga in the White Mountains, near Meduseld.

Oh, I forgot to correct this: my Q implementation works on the client side too, with or without a CommonJS loader. If you load it with a script tag it makes a Q global.

I would add that with Q, you can spread the results into arguments.

Q.all([readFile("one.txt"), readFile("two.txt")])
.spread(function (file1, file2) {
console.log("read both files", file1.length, file2.length);})
.end()

You should always .end() or return a promise with Q, to make sure that errors get handled.

Yes, the concern was memory allocations, which cause the garbage collector to run more frequently and can be a detriment to performance.

I am curious why you’ve elected to mis-spell; as I recall, Urgal is a Chris Paolini invention. I do intend to eventually add the inner fence of Mordor, though it does not appear on the attested maps. I recently re-read The Return of the King and made some notes from the text to inform the illustration. Some non-canon maps depict the Morgai as low hills, which is clearly incorrect. As for Cirith Ungol, I’ve elected to label it in English, which I should revise, but you’ll notice that the Elvish layer does use the proper, Sindarin name.

"see" is meant to be more diminuative than "related". "distinct" is just like "see" except I only used it when there was a legitimate use for the term, albeit different than you might expect.

In this case, I should have used "related". "distinct" means that your princess is probably in another castle if this is not the definition you expected for that word.
