I checked his website out and luckily you can view it in English also. I'll be going back to it tonight to read more.
My pal Amy recently asked 'what was your earliest aesthetic experience?' I can't say I really know the answer to that for sure but what I came up with was this early model Ford truck that a man named Mr. Fisher drove out to our farm when I was a kid. (5 yrs or younger) The truck was painted yellow and white. Mr. Fisher would drive it out to the orchard where he'd help my grandfather sell apples. I'll have to ask my dad what model the truck was. Anyhow I think it would interesting to explore early artistic experiences, and to see how they have worked their way into our work.

Re: Results from XXVIII

Can't wait to see these beauties in person!

Re: Results from XXVIII

Yea I'll be there for sure. Looking forward to seeing all the pots. Maybe it won't get too wet. Good luck getting all set up.
Ron

Ron Philbeck

Ron Philbeck Pottery

www.philbeckstudios.com

www.pottersjournal.blogspot...

Re: Ron & Sarah

Hey It was awesome to see you today. It's a tall, ice tea tumbler that I bought at Blue Spiral in the early 90's. It's a beauty, quite large compared to some that he makes now. I last saw it in my father's cupboard and wonder if it somehow got broken and thrown away. ? Or maybe it's in your storage unit. When you get back you can have a look for me.

Re: A-Y-U-M-I

A-W-E-S-O-M-E

Re: Sad News from Scotland

I really enjoyed when Alan put that statement up. Anyhow, some of the Circle of Eight crew has said we are going to start getting together and show each other how we do things. I'd like to take Ayumi's class. I could get lots of marketing info from that. Ron Meyers and Chuck Hines are teaching too so that would be a blast. Don't know what my chances are of getting in either of those classes but I'll give it a shot. If Stacey has any pull maybe she can help me out. :-)
Catch ya later.

Re: Home with a Cold On a Rainy Day

Hey , Hope you feel better.
