Awesome! That's what I needed...Smart kid. Nice work, Joe!

There's a great poem by Rudyard Kilpling called "IF". I'm sure you've read it. I was about 12 when my dad made told me to memorize it. It's been in my head for every decision I've ever made.

http://www.adamandtiffy.com...

Re: The Wrap-Will They Pin Apple? I guess for me the only good thing about this day is that there’s only one way to go from here I hope. Thought I was getting the hang of it too. My only long is TDC and I'll be out by the close.

Re: Video UpsideTrader

sorry, no thats bhp up PM

Re: Video UpsideTrader

uym way up in PM - close to trigger

Re: Bulls Still In Control But Looking Over Their Shoulders UpsideTrader

Any re-entry points on SDNA? You're in our prayers.

Re: Earnings UpsideTrader

No problem YK.

Yes I have, however, very infrequently. I can certianly see why you would. IBB and RVBD triggered on Tuesday at the close and I thought about pulling them and man am I glad I didn't. Made out today on both. I usually play them as they are. Here's why: Our winners are big and losers are small. We have many more winners than losers. Thus, I'm fine with the losers.

Re: Earnings UpsideTrader

YK, I use stop/limit entries and place them shortly after the open (so it doesn't gap into it). I usually do it for every trade, even if it's a ways off. I didn't catch HRBN but that happens. There wasn't a seller between 16.77 and 17.35 and I don't chase. I usually put a .5 - .9 cent stop/limit for my entry (ie..entry for HRBN was 17.08 I had a stop @ 17.09, limit 17.19).

Just a suggestion here...take a smaller position, play the stops as they are (per Joe), and take a position in all of Joe's trades. If you do this, you will make $. If you play your own stops and profits you either won't make as much or you'll lose. That's what I did. Try it for a while either on paper or with small positions to build the trust. Or check out some of the older posts. You'll see. Once the trust is there, you'll make big $ through larger size.

RE: Cashin & Roubini - no one knows what's going to happen, that's why we trust our stops. Give it a try. It works.

Re: Bulls Rip It UpsideTrader

Joe the mic cut out on the last few trades - LUFK and YGE. So far it's been real effective. I tried to cherry pick it when I first got the sub with a full pos and was no where near as successful. That's my trial and error for those interested.

Re: Whitney Loves Goldman UpsideTrader

Pretty damn good run, what a list!
