That takes courage... Just Know... You will have all the help you need... 30,000 people are taking this... you are not alone... :-)

Re: Google: What Goes on Behind the Curtain?

Excellent Interview Wendy. I enjoy receiving different perspectives. Siva Vaidhyanathan is certainly tying to take different approach in his study of Google. It is now 2014 and I found his results very thought provoking and insightful... I would give him the label of Creatreprenuer... a word I made up 20 years ago to describe just this type of Person that uses novel approaches to distribute and turn Knowledge into something useful... The Creation Society... as I call it...

Re: What Would Google Do? on sale today

I used to buy hard copy books.. I have 3 libraries strewn across the globe, which I no longer have access to.. Now for me only digital copies and ebooks. I am also taking the Northwestern University course "Understanding Media by Understanding Google" by Professor Owen R. Youngman using the Coursera PLATFORM... EXCELLENT and Thank You Jeff Jervis for an insightful work...

Re: How to Google-proof Your Website in Six Steps

A great article with very good suggestions. Content, quality content, is important. And when used with "Inbound Marketing" conversion rates, traffic, credibility all increase. I tend to forget that not everyone uses tools to the full extent of those tools...taking that fact for granted... and I don't mean using a screwdriver as a hammer :-) Just as people may not being using Thunderbird to it's full extent.... I know there are many not using Infusionsoft to it's full capacity... It is a learning curve, and when we reach a particular road block... it is then when we say... "There must be a better way?"

Thanks again for helping to widen the perspective.

Kevin Barrett

Re: Band Practice

Great posting Marc, I coach high school kids in Basketball... at the YMCA and helping out with several local high school teams... I also play... both are a passion for me, as well. I like your line... "Practice does make prefect"... but would like to add one word to that phrase.... "PERFECT Practice does make perfect." It is in the quality of that practice that brings perfection.

I tell my kids, What you do in practice you will do in a game.... so make this PRACTICE your Personal Best... and it will transfer to the GAME...

As an aside we played in a tournament last Saturday, and lost.... to a far superior team, we actually beat this team before, but they came up with a few new stars, and we did not have our normal line up... we hung in and lost by the narrowest margin... because they played like they did in PRACTICE....

Thanks again Marc... great posting, with transference to business and being a LEADER.....

Re: Giving Back to the Community

Hello Joe,

First of all great posting and my congratulations to everyone at Infusionsoft. Over the last year of my association with Infusionsoft, it has been demonstrated to me that Infusionsoft, really "Gets It"... This does not mean they get it right all the time. But they are coming from the right space..

I have been looking at the "Power of Giving"and it's effect for a long time. My causes of choice are the YMCA, and LiveSTRONG... Earlier this year, as we started our "Build Strong Kid's" Campaign, I thought about, giving and how it can impact CRM Efforts....

So, I made it a Topic for one the CRM Tips for Business... I though that I would post a link here to that CRM Tip... as I believe it underlines the Importance of this little recognized aspect of doing business over the long haul... here is the link http://bit.ly/1p0Csz

Keep up this great work... and let's make a difference.

Kevin Barrett

Re: Advanced Open Email Tracking With Infusionsoft

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you... I have been trying to get something like this for a long time...
