i to have some breast issues, and nurse, pump, AND YES I USE FORMULA. my boy is fine with any way i choose to feed him cuz i'm not all stressed out thinking omg i cant feed my baby cuz my nipples are so sore and cracked. whatever a mother choosees is gonna be fine as lone as your calm for your baby :)

i hope this helps. i tried to bf my first who is now 13, it was painfull and we both got really bad infections. so i quit with my second i was too scared to bf, but now with my third i'm ready to try again. my issuses are same as others, same advice of dr's and nurses. i finally did what i could do. i pump what i can,and as much as i can, while using creams to heal sore cracked breast.then i nurse a little cuz it hurts.and i do use formula.also i dont stress anymore or feel guilty.it makes it worse.mabey some of you need a time out to rest and heal your breast, then pump on least sore breast then you can slowly start to nurse and pump again. but do what workes for you. best of luck to all

anyone out there with latch on problems? with very large breast i find it so so so hard to get him to latch on right.i have had someone tell me he was latched on right, but i have blisters and are so sore it feels like needles in my nipples . im open to any suggestions! thanks
