Google brought me here when I was looking for ways to figure it out. That first bit of code (iterate up to r_max, then iterate up to c_max) is almost exactly what I was doing--perhaps a habit from doing something similar in VBA. The second (iterating with .rows) is saving me so much time.

Re: Is It Time To Work With China In Space?

"One would think that the prudent thing would be to leverage our
interests with those of China as we have done with Russia and many other nations around the world. But short-sighted legislation and targeted xenophobia currently prevents this."

Good luck raising campaign money with a practical long-term strategic message like that.

Re: Missouri State business-school professor leads successful campaign to ban Slaughterhouse-Five from local schools

First thing that came to mind as a response:

"Go take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut," murmured Paul Lazzaro in his azure nest. "Go take a flying fuck at the moon."

Re: Obama's BP Speech: Long on Vision, Short on Goals

Hey Andrew, if you'd like a laugh -- or a long, resigned sigh, depending on your mood -- you should see Jon Stewart summarize the last eight Presidents and their promises and goals for energy independence: "An Energy-Independent Future," The Daily Show, 16 June 2010. It's like déjà vu all over again.

Re: Losing followers on Twitter? (Scripting News)

Some people have auto-follow set up. Some people manually auto-follow to repay the favor of being followed, so to speak. The @LPI_Library feed that I follow always does a "hello @____, thanks for following" message for their new followers. I notice that sometimes the Twitter user they are addressing is the same Twitter user that I just blocked because it was a spam account.

Re: Why I don't like 'crowd sourcing' (Scripting News)

You're right about Threadless and iStockphoto not being collaboration, but they're not crowdsourcing, either. Crowdsourcing is collaboration (imho).

Re: Why I don't like 'crowd sourcing' (Scripting News)

"So - how do we describe the phenomena of wikipedia, istockphoto, threadless, etc, etc in one word?"

Collaboration
