What a write up! I have a Flash Bike and it seems to no longer charge and I miss it dearly. I don't think I'm advanced or technical enough to replace the battery... I wish I were. Good luck on your journey!

William, while I understand the rationale to not limit innovation, though I can't help but feel a huge obstacle that's massively hindering Cyptro adoption outside the very small tech bubble is the fact it has no direction, definition, or simple explanation. Its desire to be all to all things keeps it from being anything.

Came across this article via a Google search... A few questions if you see this about Godox.

1. When using the Godox TT350F with a Fuji X-Pro2 do the IN camera flash controls have any effect? It doesn't appear you can control the Godox from the Fuji camera itself and suppose you need to make all adjustments on the Godox flash unit itself. Is that correct?

2. Also I noticed switching the Flash to M in the Q menu prohibits it from firing. And even if the Godox is set to Manual the Fuji Q Menu needs to be on TTL for it to fire. Perhaps I'm setting up something wrong there, but that's the case in my testing.

I'd wager the vast majority are non-construction moments. A large chunk is free giveaways from power companies. Another is the fact they are simply more cosmetically appealing. They are also ridiculously easy to swap out as well. Personally, I'm a big fan of Ecobee. Stylish, effective, and work flawlessly.

Though to answer your question: Critical thinkers apply rigor and discipline to their questions and empathize with the other side, thinking of all facets of a decision and/or direction. Even good Devil's Advocates theorize all sides of an equation to strengthen a decision/direction not piss on it.

Haters (aka Heretics in this example) just shit on stuff and complain daily for no reason other than they enjoy being sourpusses.

Right on!

I recently attended a great STEM seminar at PS58 to get and KEEP young girls interested in STEM. The most alarming trend was by high school almost half stopped electing STEM pursuits. And by college that number dropped to almost 1%.

We need to actively and consciously buck that trend. Provide it for all. Encourage all. And support all — all the way through.

You're telling half the story here. A vital part, but one that is missing the part about gentrification and displacement. Very real and very painful points for a lot of folks. It was something we dealt with daily at the High Line. And something that is nearly impossible to fix AFTER development occurs. Though kudos for the High Line for making strides here as well in the community.

What should happen in LIC and Amazon should be an active part of is ensuring the community can preserve land/resources/affordability/equity for existing community members and weave them into the development not just displace them. I hope they can. I have low expectations Amazon or the city will though (probably a few small PR token moves).

I'm absolutely for this type of development. It's good for the city — an ever-changing city at that (which is one of the things I love most about NYC). It's just super important to consider all sides when even planning for something this big.

*This can and should apply to ANY development project and a great example of that is the 11th street bridge project in DC.

Going to BB was such a little magical experience. It was fun to see people and families all checking out films. It felt communal. I miss that.

We used to have an independent one a few blocks from us on Smith St, I was a member, it went under last year. Miss that, too.

Netflix is great, but it ain't the same experience.

Ditto. I've tried a ton. Nothing tops Sonos. Totally smitten. One of the few products IMO that out-Apple'd Apple.

Breeze to set up. Link. Add-on. They look great. And sound great.

Their app can be improved (it keeps taking steps backward in UI/UX), but that's a minor quibble.
