Being a student officer is both fun and hard. At one point everything is working out as planned - the next blink of an eye something goes wrong and everything needs a magic touch of the council of student officers or such.

So this was on our way home from Tagaytay today (January 1). We passed by this so called Leslie's Restaurant. This was first suggested by my mom's cousin. So yeah, we went on and went it. It was around 2PM already, we were planning to have late lunch there. The interior of the place was quite good. The place looked like it was really themed natively. From the big wood Filipino chairs and tables to the nippahut form of the restaurant.

We picked our table and sat. Waited for some minutes for someone to take the order but no one went to us. We just tried to underdtand as because we noticed there was only one person cleaning, serving and getting the orders. We went to the counter to order some food and they told my mom it would take them quite awhile, approximately 30 minutes to an hour to prepare. So my mom just agreed.

After an hour and so we went to the counter to follow up the order, to our surprise the person on the counter seemed to be unknowledgable of the order, so they approached the Manang (woman) who was serving. She talked to the cooks and asked about it. The cook said ''Ito na yung order nila oh, kanina pa yan'' (in English) ''Here is there order, it has been there for awhile already''. So my mom got pissed as because it was just lying there, nilalangaw. (nilalangaw = when flys go to your food and eat). We just sat down to wait for them to serve. When my mom sat down, the waiter said that the soup we wanted was no longer available. Her reaction was like, WTF, why do you have to tell us after an hour? Can't you just tell us upon ordering or while waiting? We just left the said restaurant.

MY RECOMMENDATION: If you're a foreigner who want to eat at a native Filipino restaurant, then you must have long patience when you would consider eating here. If you're a Filipino like me, there are a lot of other places where you can eat at which are both authentic and delicious.

EAT AT LESLIE'S RESTAURANT AT YOUR OWN RISK. THEY GAVE US VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'D RATHER EAT AND WAIT AT MCDO THEN WAIT FOR THEIR SLOW PEOPLE.

DESIGN AND INTERIOR: 9/10, all was good.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: 1/10, the one point is for the manang who was kind.
FOOD: 0/10 and N/A. We weren't able to taste the food, but from what we have seen, wow. They just let the food get attacked by flys and mosquitos?
PRICE: 3/10, upon viewing the menu, the place isn't cheap. The food in the menu were indeed pricey.
