I don't think anyone is an "expert" in this.

Re: Giving it wings…Saturday Sojourn with Serenity ~~

Give it wings! I love it! I'm so for this...I can't even tell you!!! Yes, if it doesn't comfort me...add a sense of peace and beauty to my life...it's gone. I'm also big on supporting Goodwill and shelters. I'm chuckling as I think about the number of years I carried around the Beatrix Potter collection of stuffed animals I was given as a child. I, too, thought they would mean something to my future child (children), but one day I realized this was rather silly for a number of reasons. I love the feeling of clearning my space. For me it's right alongside clearning my mind. Thank you for this New Year and any time of year reminder. :)

Re: A 4yr old boy, an easel, and a lesson about being true to ourselves…

Isn't it amazing the way we sometimes insist on complicating the simplicity of life...of being? And do we recognize that children are often our greatest teachers! This is a beautiful story, and beautifully expressed.

Re: Mommying our moments

I love the important reminder in this post and the Stanisław Wyspiański image you chose to go along with it! :)
