Here's the thing my beautiful friend, I haven't read the article and doubt I will, but this is what I know, you matter. You make a difference each and every day. To your kids, to your husband, your family and sometimes to complete strangers. Life is messy, it's complicated, we all fuck it up in so many ways but you, my dear, live my mottos - fall down seven times, rise up eight; onward; and never give up.

Yes it's disappointing and embarrassing and all the rest but none of it matters. You, living your truth, getting up every single day to fight the good fight, to raise your face to the sun and inhale life is what is important and well, you are a bloody legend, an inspiration, at doing that.

Onward.

While I desperately loved Anne of Green Gables as a child, secretly Pippi was my absolute favourite.

Mine is all me - the good, the bad, the teary, the cheery. Just go read my latest post to see that is the case.

I would love to have a bigger readership and would love to make an income from it, but I know that comes at a cost - haters and probably a LOT more self-editing that I currently do. So at the moment it is record of my life.

I get very disillusioned by those who sell out by which I mean write 'sponsored' pieces within their blog. EG - when Ree (The Pioneer Woman) did a number of recipes using a particular product. It just lessened my joy at reading her for a moment.

I just finished it having only started it on Wednesday night. Granted, I'm kinda on a bedrest caper so that made it easier and there is a lot less guilt about ignoring the children for a book than just doodling around on the internet. I think I can say I really really liked it.

I went to a zine workshop at the MCA two years ago and your post has reminded me to start 'zine-ing' again'. I've got the name of a place in Melbourne somewhere in this house - I'll dig it out and let you know!

I WON!?!

I NEVER EVER EVER win anything and your remarkable amazing book is the SECOND thing I've won this week (I won the most beautiful hat from Sooz but it doesn't fit my melon of a head).

I'm SO EXCITED.

Do you know how many times I've stood in bookshops coveting it? Unable to justify the outlay, such has been the dire state of our finances? Do you!?! INNUMERABLE.

I'm all teary.
