There is a lot to take away from her talk and one of those takeaways is that it's OK to fail.

Re: Matt Gurney: Albertan Naheed Nenshi hits xenophobic Quebec separatists where it hurts

"Alberta — traditionally dismissed as the Deep South of Canada" - while there may still be some back-water spots in the province, overall, we're pretty sophistimicated.

Re: Writing on the Ether

Thank you for the insightful coverage of our new approach to social DRM and watermarking. Everyone at Enthrill is excited about PackaDRM because we feel it is the best platform neutral watermarking solution to date.

Re: Artificial Reefs Around the World - Alan Taylor - In Focus - The Atlantic

So, I guess steel is not recyclable. Plenty more of it in the earth I suppose, under the trees ...just waiting to be dug up. I understand the need/want to recreate reefs, but aren't we just taking change from one pocket and putting it in another?

Re: Do ebook consumers love bestsellers, or does it just look that way?

Here, here. I don't know much about robots, but it seems that more efforts have been made in mobility than in intelligence. Being a successful biped seems to be the goal - it would be nice to see other advancements reported on. If you get more info, post it - would love to read it.
