I guess for Filly anouncers you have to weigh 300 hundy and strike out 200 times a year to Cadillac around the bases after a homer.

And because Victorino (who i'd love to have on my team) is an overachiever, his exuberance is a spark.

I'm not of fan of the Reyes antics but EVERY team has multiple players that do the same stuff. I wish there were more Wrights and Utleys but this is nothing new.

Reyes is basically on a pace to have the same season as Rollins last year and with no clear front runner for NL MVP, even if he keeps it up, he has not shot to win it. Even if the Mets win the division. He's been branded and it will be tough to overcome that and the NY bias.

I wish Reyes would tone it down, but not at the expense of his game. Every fan and anouncer lives in a glass house and shouldn't throw stones.

Larry Andersen will always be bitter that he will be known as the average pitcher that was traded for Jeff Bagwell. He should be happy because that's the only memorable moment of his career.

At least Keith will call out his own players. Doubt Larry "Bags" Andersen said a negative thing about J-Roll's tardiness.

I admit fronting a big deal with a 16 year old is not going to happen especially with a 28 year old All Star but how badly did the Indians brick turning down Reyes as the centerpiece in the Alomar trade instead of Alex "the Great" Escobar. No GM will risk his job on players that young.

Martinez would have to be a Cabrera or Pujols to not include him in a deal for Holliday. I don't think he is so getting a 28 year old career .321 hitter with another year to free agency is tough to turn down. Especially with basically a win now team. I don't think we can fill in the pieces around Martinez to get it done but it's alot to expect Martinez will be as good as Holliday for his career.
