I've thought about this a lot over the last 24 hours, and have found several monetizing plans for a URL shortener, so I'm not sure what happened with tr.im.

Almost seems as if he thought he could sell the system to someone, but forgot that people want to buy something that makes money, not something that is designed to eat the money.

Re: Flustered by Fake Friendly Comments

Interesting to have your email post sent to me today, after I just went through a slew of comments that are extremely real looking, but generic at the same time.

Blog commenters ( as foreign outsourcing for SEO value only) are giving legitimate commenters a bad rap, and making it difficult to weed out because they are coming up with phrases that fit 95% of any situation, sound legitimate, and generally make a blog owner/author feel good about themselves and the job that they are doing with their blog.

As long as the comment sounds loosely real, and the URL isn't too spammy, I'll usually keep it, but I don't have near as many comments to pick and chose from as you do, Michel :)

Yet again, another great post!*

Re: 14 Effective Search Engine Optimization Tips

Nice summary of what SEO services are all about.
