His grandfather, Kim’s dad literally retired and moved to LA last year to be near his grands. Puff adopted him and that’s his son. Al B is back in his life. Kim and Puff have a whole village that has been there to love on those kids and pour into them since they were born. They have an amazing network of family and extended family. Quincy is in good hands.

Re: Mildred Loving’s Grandson Reveals She Didn’t Identify, and Hated Being Portrayed, as Black American

Britt - how is it "clear" that she is black, when her marriage license shows she is native american/Indian? That makes not sense. I think many of us have a narrow perception of what a native american person looks like.

Re: Mildred Loving’s Grandson Reveals She Didn’t Identify, and Hated Being Portrayed, as Black American

Her marriage license...

Re: Hello Cupid

Patiently awaiting the Hello Cupid Season finale. The situation with Whit and Robyn May seem unlikely, but it deals with a very real dynamic that happens in a lot of friendships. I'm really into their story now. Amazing job!!

Re: Floyd Mayweather Hits Jeremy Lin On Race

There is nothing wrong with embracing race and culture. It is as if he "knew" he was being taped. He never even tried to speak in code.
His shaky suggestion that he thinks that candidate #5 will help him raise money for a future campaign, means very little to me. And is that even considered bribery or is it a promise to be an ally if I get the job?
This seems as though it may be more about screwing the PE than it appears on the surface. As we all know, JJJ is one of PE oldest and dearest friends, groomsman and co-chair of for his campaign.

Re: Barack Obama – Not Black?

ra60785,

Clearly! I have been so bothered by this topic and I am glad that you started this conversation again. I am just scratching my head when I hear people especially those OVER 50 act as if most biracial people have not always self-identified as black. But, I guess you are right, they never thought that once they had a "choice" that most would chose to still be black or embrace their African heritage.

If they only knew how offensive it is for them to wonder why he calls himself black. Maybe some people like being black. I know that I love it!

Re: Barack Obama – Not Black?

Miranda,

You highlighted the exact lines that I found so sickening.
