If a puppy gets spanked every time it barks for no reason, IT STOPS BARKING... are you sugesting that your(or any one elses) children are less intelligent than a puppy? The problem here is that people have let social expectations get in the way of old fashion discpline, the phsycologist's and behavioral scientist's with NO CHILDREN are telling all of us how to raise ours. let me ask you, are you Christian? if so the bible says "spare the rod... spoil the child..." if not are you religious at all? if so almost all religions endorse true, thought out, CONSISTANT, discipline for our children. in closing what do you think would happen if you took any person(or animal) and let them develop something as a habit for say two, three years, with only occasionally saying no, or please don't do that; then suddenly you start disciplining (hitting, spanking, grounding, w/e) it for the very same action you have allowed and basically endorsed thus far? what will happen is probally Exactly what happens when you disciplin your children, temper tantrems and worse behavior.........
