I am a big Smoothie King fan and I have to personally say it runs up there with their drinks!

Is there chocolate flaxseed meal?! The reason for it is added chocolate flavoring. And if you don't have any now, the image of the protein powder I have here is cheap at Walmart.

And oooh... yes... typo on 2 hours for time. I would recommend anyone within a blender that would take 2 hours to do some replacing! haha

I am big into the whole social media space and i'm finding myself having trouble really getting into and using Google+. I want to, because I don't really like Facebook... but its tough making the switch after being highly active on Facebook for so long. I'm just conditioned as many others are.However, with the features of Google+ and all the other Google applications, I think Google is going to become a major player in social networking. As for as dethroneing Facebook... Not going to say its not possible, but they have their work cut out for them. I'm rooting for them though!

This is great Chris, I never even heard of it. So will it be in the iPhone 5?

It is very cool to think what this can help with. The only problem with walking out of the store and not visiting a register is that how will they know who has a phone that is checking them out and who doesn't?

But the other features would be great! That would beat out the QR codes before they really even kicked off.

"Who needs a website" ?!?! Are you kidding me? If anyone ever suggested to get on Facebook and not worry about having a website as well must be crazy. A website should and MUST be your home-base online. What happened to the people who did this same thing when MySpace was around? They setup pages and payed a lot of money to be established on MySpace, and what happened? A complete waste of money now.

Small businesses should start with a website and build up a community through blogging. Social websites will come and go. You don't want to leave your self stranded when people jump ship to the next big thing.

If you have a website PLUS social network presence, you won't have to start completely from the ground up every time a shift happens.

I completely agree. If you know no one is reading, it would be very discouraging. However, if your mindset is changed to blog for yourself.... readers and commenters are strictly bonus

Yes Jan! Your #1 is right on the spot and the biggest thing to take from all of this.

I completely agree that if you continue to write, and if your information is potentially helpful and inspiring in some form, you WILL get readers.

What do you think on the business side of things?? Does a business write for themselves rather than their readers?

Voting takes place by fans liking the photos

Hey Erin,
Video blogging is actually much easier than it seems.

Tips:
- Get yourself a simple and very portable camera. Something like a Flip ( http://amzn.to/bfB6da )
- Create a basic video script of what you want to cover in your video
- When filming and editing, your videos DO NOT have to be perfect. You are a beginner and must start somewhere. Don't worry about being perfect. The quality of everything will increase with practice and so what if it takes you 100 takes to do something.
- Editing can be done in something like Windows Movie Maker for basic cutting out of messups, adding transitions text and even media such as images and music.
- Distribute your video with something like TubeMogul.com. Takes a little while to create all the accounts and get them setup, but it is worth it.
