I love the example you set for others and that you share your dedication to your faith, and yet never come across as lecturing or judging others. As a Christian woman who founded my own company, I'm constantly inspired by how well you handle that balance. Because of all I have gleaned from you and your content, I was beyond excited to learn about this new book. First and foremost because it's from YOU, so I know it will be impactful, but secondly because over the past year, I've had SEVERAL huge "Oh Wow" moments where I realized - until now, I had not been the architect of my life. I was walking a path with my head down focused on whatever came my way. When my business exploded with growth, I allowed my life to become so unbalanced and in many ways unfulfilling- because it was ALL WORK. Now, THIS is my focus. Deciding how I want to live and designing my life to match my core beliefs and what I believe is my calling. I KNOW your new book is going to be just what I need to propel this desire further and I thank you in advance for creating it. You help and inspire so many with what you do. Keep it up because YOU ROCK. #thatisall

Re: Food, Fitness, and Family: Learning to Love My Mom Body

this is an awesome post girl. SO true and I kind of needed to read it. I haven't had a baby but I've had a big challenge personally in my life dealing with the hormonal body changes that came with early onset perimenopause. I'm doing just what you have done- FINALLY- after 2 years of panic and beating myself up and getting nowhere. Acceptance and calming down and trusting that the future will happen- and loving yourself along the way: KEY. ;-) Good on ya!!

Re: Fitting Back In: New Comfort Food Recipe, Book Review, Weekly Workouts

I'd say my favorite comfort food is also creamy pasta or creamy rice- I love this Broccoli and Cheese Rice a Roni (cheezy I know, not homemade), Macaroni and Cheese or a dish like this. And then there is the Fish Sandwich at McDonald's....MMM. Now Jane Green I really like her EARLIER books like Jemima J, Mr. Maybe, The Other Woman, etc. I have bought a few of her more recent ones and found myself NOT as drawn in to them...not sure why.

Re: Fitting Back In: Weekly Workouts, New Work Clothes!

It's funny, in the past, I always worked for companies that had a more formal work attire. Only recently have I been working where I don't have to wear suits and such....and now I am transitioning into even more casual with the growth of FitFluential because more and more my work is around fit activity and on the road! I dig it!! Love that wrap from H&M. Never have shopped there before.

Re: Fitting Back In: Mixed Cardio Workout, New Clothes!

I felt the same way about that movie. I remember wondering why she got all soooo emotional with him, like that one scene where she is like HITTING him and such- I'm like, who would EVER do that? It was odd. I find myself lately getting Netflix obsessed with new TV shows that I only recently "discovered" and then I start at Season One and continue. Currently just starting (don't laugh, 9 years late!) NCIS, I love Fringe, The Closer and then some good movies on Netflix but not a TON that I love. I did really like Life As We Know It. Did you see that one?

Re: Fitting Back In: The Night Before Two-A-Days, Asian Menu!

GIRL! You've so inspired me to cook more and read more (again, used to do this in the past, now am finally doing it again)- just so you know! Thank you! ;-) I've been addicted to fish tacos lately, so it's time I mixed it up! I was originally making it with kale/spinach/fruit and honey- but it was never truly tasty. I'm sure I was missing something. Then I tried the BeachBody Shakeology and Um that got me REAL spoiled. They have chocolate and greenberry- I use the greenberry (not trying to sell you on this just telling!) and it is FLIPPING DELICIOUS. That said, while all the ingredients are optimal- you do PAY for it, it's costly. I'm just back to having Green Smoothies again but I suck at making them homemade....why do all the bloggers make it look so yummy? Come to think of it, we had a gal make us green smoothies at #NakedFitness that were delicious....I should ask her what she put in them....

Re: Hungry Meets Healthy: The Easiest, Healthy, One-Ingredient Dessert

Ok so I am the one blogger on the planet that has NOT seen this concept. I've never made it at home, although your recipe appears to be one I could try...and for falling, good heavens I had a total wipeout about a year ago- I mean, I ate the sidewalk in front of like 10 friends. Then, as I got off the plane this week, I ALMOST feel because my diva heels got caught in a- well who knows what happened really? Not me.
