It's not as limited as the shuffle, but still doesn't feel like a *thing* strapped to me when I run. I hate running and feeling my iPod thud with every foot fall.

I picked up one of the watch bands from TikTok, and it's pretty awesome. Aside from a few times when having your earbuds running to your hand is awkward, it's perfect. http://lunatik.com/tiktok

Re: A Bit of Vintage PC Awesome for you…

I now have a whole new level of respect for PC (to be fair, when I clicked on this in my RSS reader I thought it was about vintage computers...). Thanks for sharing!

Re: http://postling.tumblr.com/post/832722286

Lack of interaction is the number one biggest fail I seen in business twitter accounts. If I wanted broadcast information, I'd add their blog to my RSS feed! Even if it's just saying "thanks" to a compliment, @replies in the twitter stream let me know someone is home.

Re: Exploding Capacitors

That presupposes I *have* $200. As it is I'm just going to revert to the onboard video (horrors!).

Re: NYCResistor is Moving!

Yep, they're in the old space until we're settled into the new one. Don't worry, we'll make it super clear once we switch class locations!

Re: Python

It's a pretty fair price for a multiple day professional programming course. Also, having a good teacher explain things to you is infinitely more efficient than the trial and error that self study entails. DIY is an important part of learning, but if you want to pick up a language in a couple days a good teacher is well worth the price.

Re: Paper Engineering class a success!

Thanks for an awesome class!

Re: Thermal Printer Hacking

Iiiiinteresting... got any model / part #s to suggest? I'm always up for another way to interface with it, I just got the impression that IrDA was going to be a total pain.

Re: Thermal Printer Hacking

Raph and I cracked it open, and found ground, but it's all squished in there pretty good so it's hard to see where much goes. I may take a look at it again under the super microscope.

Re: Caterpillar Cowboy

If it doesn't run under OSX it'll almost certainly run under dosbox.

Re: Gear Shopping Guide

Linking to any of our articles or events is always welcome :)

Re: waffl blog

Aw, Chris looks so sleepy.
