Talk about water conservation! Nobody even questioned this and I always wondered why nobody brought this issue up. Obviously this was allowed because of the all mighty dollar and the big developers whom I am sure had quite a lot of clout. Also these big homes with all of their bathrooms are owned by the rich, so lets not punish them.
I play golf at a public course and it is probably the one thing I really enjoy. So let's punish me, the little guy and eliminate the green areas of the golf courses, which would be the whole course I guess. At the same time why don't we just eliminate all of the parks in the area too, make them lets say into asphalt parking lots that will conserve water.

Re: CarmelValleyLeader.com | MAD may have extra reserves

Thank goodness that Chairman Dave McIntyre recognized the Carmel Creek Road's median.
Please though do not wait 3 years to start this work, according to your price increase in just 6 months from the original budget, it will cost an extra $196,692.
Also please don't forgot the median on the west side of Carmel Country Road at the Carmel Creek Rd. intersection. I have lived here for 16 years and this has been a dirt median. I understood that there was some type of a legal hassle and that the Baldwin Co. owned this little piece of land at one time.
Come on people lets get this median landscaped or something. When I have out-of-town vistors I avoid driving down Carmel Country Rd. because of this eye sore, it's embarrassing that such a rich community as ours has landscaping this bad.
