I remember the day Genny was diagnosed with diabetes. She was feeling absolutely awful, and we rushed her to the emergency room. They found her blood sugar to be about 700, and rushed her to a helecopter to take her to the larger hospital about 30 miles away. I recall standing in the parking lot, watching the helicopter fly away, not sure if Genny was going to live or die. I felt as if a small peaceful voice was suddenly speaking in my mind. It said something along the lines of "She will live, and have many years to enjoy, but remember, life is a gift. Never take it for granted. Treat each day you spend with her or with anyone as if it is your last." I remembered this, and the comfort it gave me when she left us in February. We had many years together, and I cherish every day of it.

Although generally when a company says "Q2" they mean, say, mid-May. They don't mean that they'll start soak testing it at 11:59 p.m. on the last day of June. Clearly there are problems.

It's true that it was only a "rumor" that the update was today... but the reason people are so hungry for the rumors is that official communication has been practically non-existent. They don't want to look bad by having to revise the "official" schedule. But this just looks worse.

It may be that context and net result, rather than individual level, is what's being calibrated. Of course, it might also be that the technique doesn't work. It ought to be easy to prove one way or another, but I fear that anyone attempting to validate it who's results were negative would be accused of being at too low a level to do the calibration.

The book, as discussed above, is "I- Reality and Subjectivity", and the quote is several chapters in. It quite definitely says "The Constitution", not the Declaration of Independence. I don't have the book with me, but I believe you'll find the remark easy to locate in that book.

I almost missed the closing. I set up a full-scale BBS here (on the forum link) in case enough people are interested in a new home for discussion. I've very much enjoyed your posts. I'd recommend it just for the entertainment value. It's definitely not as cerebral as What the Bleep or even the Matrix. It's much more caught up in the action and intrigue. But the metaphysical issues are almost more troubling because they are only shadows in the background.

Yes, I hear similar things from a variety of "spiritual" teachers and sources. Wayne Dyer and the folks at "The Secret" for example. On the one hand, I've known a lot of people so caught up in a particular cause that they become bitter, angry and exhausted. On the other hand, this can all too easily be a nice excuse for people who have a lot of material advantages ignoring any social responsibility. There are plenty of things we can do to make our world better without lowering our spiritual energy.
