The suits were the best part of the movie. I remember watching it for the first time and saying, "The costume designer must love Thom Browne."

Also, this is one of Bobby's favorite movies, so I'm sure he'll love this post;)

Kim and I both tried on those cute Lela Rose booties at payless and neither of us could walk in them. My ankles kept giving out! I was bummed because I love the style and the color. I need to learn how to walk in skinnier heels again. I guess I'm used to my thicker ones.

I am the same way. I take negative comments way too personally and it makes my stomach hurt. It's silly but that's just how I am. I allow them still (I guess I like to torture myself) but I support anyone's decision to delete or do away with negativity altogether. I just think it's unfortunate that there is this backlash from some of the readers. It almost makes the occasional rude comment pale in comparison:(

I'm kind of surprised this is such a controversial subject with your readers. I can see both sides, I guess.

As a blogger, I completely understand how you feel about negative comments - I will never understand why people go out of their way to be rude. It's one thing to say, "This isn't my favorite outfit" or "Love the dress but I'd go for a more classic shoe next time," and another to say something like, "My four year old dresses better than you" or "I would be scared to go out of the house if I looked like you" (these are actual comments I have had). What's the point? You're just making yourself look like a jerk and simultaneously making the other person feel crummy.

I think the reason some of your readers are up in arms is because they even though they view you as something akin to a fashion magazine, they also see you as what you are, an individual who just happens to love fashion. I think personal style blogs are so enticing because they tend to be more accessible than what you see in magazines and on the runway. If your readers no longer feel they're able to express their unfiltered opinions, that might put you on a different level for them and make you seem a little more untouchable. You know what I mean? It seems like most of the comments don't like the idea of having to be a sycophant or nothing at all. I don't think that was the intention of your new rules at all, but I think it might be beneficial to clarify to the naysayers.

Although I'm personally a fan of Thumper's mom's saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say nothin' at all," I also understand them wanting to be able to express themselves and feel involved. I just wish that the critics could comment in a way that a good friend would, with not only honesty but more importantly, tact.

The same thing always happens to me! I have friends over and put itunes on shuffle, and it never fails...NKOTB greatest hits or EMF's "You're Unbelievable" comes on. I wish I could say my boyfriend downloaded those.
