The greed of many many doctors is the problem with prescription drug addictions. There is NO REASON a doctor should prescribe any schedule ll narcotic to a patient without an extensive evaluation for a diagnosis, but they do, all the time.
I work as a Pharmacy Tech and we see scripts for 120 count 30mg Oxycodone many with a 120 count 2mg Xanax chaser ALL THE time, from the same doctors, to the same people month after month. We turn some away but there is always someone that will eventually fill them. And in rare cases the doctor is questioned. Greed, the destruction of our world.

I agree with you about being married when you decide to have children. I was married for the second child.

And I am all for shutting down all the boarders for ten years...you can leave but if you are not a citizen you can't come back. Ten years. Then we take a look at things and find a system that will work.

Or, STOP all government assistance to anyone not born here, period...they'll go back to where they came from or go somewhere else. Hell we can even pay for the plane ticket. If you were not born here you cannot collect any help from our government, period.

I am sickened by the number of people I see in my little corner of the world that cannot speak English but are having this country's taxpayers Americans, pay for their housing, food and healthcare. Infuriating.

Ok, well thats not going to happen.

I had a child out of wedlock thirty years ago, worked part-time (30-35 hrs a week) at a job where I made enough money (not alot but enough) to support us, with sporadic child support payments.

NO HANDOUTS!

The whole immigrant argument is valid. Although the story was about Americans, who's parents came here for Puerto Rico, one of our biggest problems. We should exchange Puerto Rico for Mexico!

I just watched this interview. Druckenmiller is incredible naive to the whole entitlement problem.
How about the 20 year old who lives in a motel with her 3 year old, her mother, her stepdad and the stepdads brother because they were all kicked out of the apartment the were living in for non payment of rent (between the four adults they couldn't pay the rent). Then she meets a guy, ten years her senior, at the part time job she has making $8.50 an hour at the local Pathmark Supermarket, he works part time as well and has a nine year old he can't financially support. But they fall in love and they want a baby together, so guess what... that's one (the girl), two (her three year old), three (the guys first kid), and four (the new baby), all on welfare and ok with it because they don't know any better. THAT'S A MAJOR PROBLEM!

Oh wait, I have another for ya. A twenty eight year old mother of a five year old and a nine year old, gets a part time job at the same Pathmark $8.50 an hour, meets and has an affair with a guy (he works part time too) who has a one year old, (count them THREE KIDS so far) all on welfare, assisted housing, food stamps the whole nine. The guy leaves his wife and the first mother gets pregnant WITH TWINS, the guy goes back to the first baby mama and she gets pregnant too, AGAIN. Did I mention he got fired and now is unemployed, So lets count them up...the two baby mamas, first two kids, then the one with first baby mama, then the twins, then the first baby mama baby born two weeks after the twins. Grand total, EIGHT, EIGHT people, all entitled to have a roof over their heads, food, healthcare, daycare, education, etc. These parents will probably never be able to financially support these children. This is happening by the millions. How do you fix that!!!

That money could have been better spent implementing better ideas for sales into the stores. Back to basics guys hint hint.
Whoever is responsible for this irresponsible spending is no asset to A&P. Hey I've had a broken floral case (cannot be fixed, too old) right at the front door when the customers come in it's the first thing they see and it looks like sh*t. Can't afford a new one. Maybe one of the execs will buy us a new one out of his bonus. Ha.

Really...It is no surprise this company, the company I have worked for for more then thirty years, is going "belly up". Such a disgace. Can we get a CEO who really wants the company to be successful and not just what he can get out of it before the ship sinks? There are so many "good ideas" out there to generate sales. Any stores beating same store sales and margin are doing it because of the department managers and associates who "do their job" everyday by ordering correctly and holding themselves accountable to their numbers. NOT management, they just happen to reap the benefit of a successful store. My store manager made $100,000 last year after his bonus, he puts in between thirty to forty hours a week. Lucky he landed in a profitable store. Such a shame A&P still "doesn't get it".

Wheww. That first pic looked like you were going in for some lip action, then I saw the second pic and realized it was just a hug. I mean if you wanted to kiss him that would be ok I mean "theres nothing wrong with it". I'm just saying.
Oh and you were great at the presidents gig (I actually watch that stuff) as well as on Bob and Tom. It is always a pleasure to see or hear you, your a funny guy. Thanks for the laughs!

I am a loyal Bob and Tom Show listener as well as a daily (ok maybe not everyday) Huffpo reader.
I plan on reading your new book as soon as I can focus long enough to get through the first one. It's not the book (ADD). It's all I can do to finish what I start.
