You sir, are an insufferable, over-analytical twat. You have just insulted the intelligence of Alex, Tom and Charlie - and I might as well add these aforementioned "emotional teenagers", who you seem to think do not have the mental capacity to do anything but follow people blindly, in a cult-like fashion.
And there is no point replying to me yet, because you obviously are just going to repeat your flimsy, opaque point as if no one can understand your argument. Talk to me when you get the decency to at least try to comprehend what people are saying in their responses, instead of assuming that everything they say is the wrongly said garbling of an eleven year old.

I first heard this on DFTBA Radio a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. It has a similar feel to Parrot Stories, but it's also one of the more unique songs of yours.
The music video made me laugh (although I'm a bit concerned about the unhealthy amount of fascination you have towards a cardboard Amy...), and the storyline was awesomely unforgettable, because I wouldn't have thought of it while just listening to the song alone.
You probably already know, but you have major skills. Seriously.

I'm also a fan of the books. And I know the book itself isn't dark; it's a children's book. But that is the problem, as it's known for being a children's book, parents will allow their kid's to see it. And Burton obviously knows this, so he has to hold back on the darkness - which is a shame, because if this book was never originaly credited as a child-friendly book, then Tim would have had a fantasic job letting his imagination twist the story into something terribly dark. But, alas, he has set his mind to fix this movie into a only-very-slightly-dark viewing experience for all of those who see it.
As for "goth kids and Hot Topic regulars", I couldn't really care FOR them, because I have no interest IN them, as I am only a pure Tim Burton fangirl.
But maybe I've just had a bit too much of American McGee's Alice, hmm?

I am so excited for Bran, but *sigh* it doesn't come out here in Ireland. So, I have to wait until my uncle brings it here from San Fransico, AT HALLOWE'EN!!! *sob* I don't know how I'll live...
