If that's the best criticism of Obama you can muster, I feel pretty good about his chances in November. Let's face it, Obama simply hasn't made many mistakes and McCain is throwing anything he can at him to slow his momentum. Obama could screw it up big, but as of yet, he hasn't. He's smart and running a very positive campaign, by any standard.

It's a cop out, Andrew, to say that mudslinging is "inevitable" and is what, somehow OK? Scandal has been a part of American politics for over two hundred years but that shouldn't halt our righteous outrage.

And stop the President of Europe talk. The President of the United States is going to be essentially leading the world and we have a lot of allies in Europe. I'm glad to see a candidate engaged with foreign countries in a positive way and see no evidence whatsoever that Obama will do whatever they want; but he might at least listen and get them on our side the next time we have a world crisis.

But that's not what David was saying. He has a valid point - it's not enough to say Obama has no experience. He's inviting someone to make a substantive argument against him. Saying that you're a Democrat from Illinois doesn't mean your opinion counts more than a real argument, Draper.
