do the VW's rub your heels or is it more of a support issue? cause if it's support, girl, get those dr. scholl's inserts with the hard plastic arch support. slap those babies in your VW pirates and GO TO TOWN. I did this with mine and backpacked (ok, train-hopped & strolled) through europe for a month in mine. SO COMFY.

actually the Parkers were from Fort Parker (which is also a state park now), and that's north west of where we were - but I think one of the Pruitts (the branch of family that came as part of the Robertson Colony) married an aunt of Cynthia Ann Parker, so she might have come here! I wish I knew more about the lineage & family tree

"safe" they may be, but the entire point of this post was to showcase basic items that can be used to create multiple outfits. i am traveling to europe for a month & living out of a carry-on suitcase. i need to be able to maximize my clothing's potential. so "safe" items become a blank canvas for accessories and other creative ways to showcase my style in a limited environment. sorry if this made you yawn :/

I don't think it can be altered, which IS KILLING ME. There's no darts at the bust to let out, so other than inserting more material I'm not sure it can be done? I dunno, I'm not a good tailor! But I'm steadily losing weight for other reasons (ok, you got me - it's JUST SO I CAN WEAR THIS AMAZING DRESS lol)

thanks for the recomendations! we're mainly going to the UK for London to visit friends - I lived there for three years about five years back and I haven't had a chance to go back until now, so I am so excited to see old friends and explore the city again! We'll be heading out into Surrey and Berkshire and then up to Edinburgh! I haven't been to Scotland since I was eleven so I am so so excited to go back!!

thank you! i'm glad the influence is clear, i was afraid it was only to me because i literally saturated myself with renaissance portraiture before i did it so i was sort of working with ren-glasses on, lol.

yeaaaahh the silhouette thing was cheesy as hell, i cringed when i first watched it. and it's nothing groundbreaking, which is why i can't understand all the hate. it's a quick video of a pretty girl - what's to hate? just because it's lilo. poor thing. she is ridiculous but i will never understand the vilification of someone with addiction problems. so wrong :(

oh man i usually SO WOULD shove it off on him! but i'm not working right now and he is working seven days a week...so i feel awful if he has to come home and clean stuff! especially since i am home all day...too bad guilt is not a motivator for me, lol.

i used to skate in high school! nothing spectacular, but all my guy friends were skaters & i went along for the ride. my boyfriend now is an ex-skater too & we have been thinking about ordering some longboards to cruise around on.
