aghh that is also my biggest frustration fashion-wise! i love boots but my calves are freakishly big.

i've found some great ones at torrid.com (i KNOW, seriously, but they do have some good basic brown & back boots).

all kind of pricey, but as much as i like to wear boots, if they fit and they are made well then it's totally justifiable.

LOVE these ideas. when i moved a few weeks ago, i came across tons and tons of cheap-ish clothing that i'd impulsively bought and worn once (if that). what a waste! i donated almost all of it, and decided that from here on out i'd try to buy only clothes that i'm actually going to wear regularly. after all these years of being "cheap" (in quotations because when you add it up, my cheap clothes were actually an expensive habit) it's hard to get over the sticker shock of $100+ items of clothing, but the idea of the cost-per-wear is definitely going to make that easier. and it certainly makes a lot more sense!!

i LOVE the top (and shoes!)...but i have to jump on the anti-harem bandwagon. my theory has always been to wear what i like and what looks good on me, and not worry about following the latest trends, etc. then again, i'm not a professional fashionista like you, so it makes sense that you'd be more into trends than practicality necessarily (that's supposed to be complimentary and not insulting...i hope that's how it comes across!)

anyway...love your head to toe features, keep 'em coming!

p.s. "emily kate" seems to be following another unflattering/uncomfortable trend i try to avoid as well. the whole stick-up-your-ass pants look just isn't for everyone.

this is essentially the same routine i have, but i've been looking for some new products to mix it up/improve on it. thanks for the tips and recommendations - especially for the tinted moisturizers!!

we have pretty similar coloring - do you use the eyebrow pencil every day, or just for special occasions? mine are pretty light, and i'm never sure if i should darken them or not. i'm afraid of looking like a chola if i do it for just daytime wear. i'd love to see some brow tips/tricks if you get some spare time in the future!!
