I love the coat dress, and it's extra smart because it gives enough length for her to bend down to tend to Charlotte without showing the Royal Jewels, but the actual dress or lining is short enough to make it feel more modern.

Part of why she can work Fashion so well is she has the confidence to just assume everything on her is fabulous. Which she makes it. She also doesn't take herself too seriously, which I think allows her to be Goofy Chic because she can have fun with it. I love her. Queen.

ETA: That I desperately wanted in the late 90s but my mom refused to buy but did allow me to "modify" a pair of jeans that had shrunk to be too short, which resulted in way too much time with me, those jeans, and a seam ripper.

I have been wearing mom jeans and wide leg jeans and big flares and high waists and love them all, but I don't like the wide leg crops and I don't like unfinished hems and I don't like franked-pants. I will keep wearing my high waisted flares but they will all look finished.
