Remarkable how similar the two experiences are...also, dog toys and baby toys are interchangable (not after the first use perhaps). Soft, squeaky, brightly-colored.

Re: 6ws - Happy Holidays?

In a funk, huh? How many years has the internet existed? And it's still somewhat of a mystery to me. How do you know what people search to find you??

Re: My Laminated List

I love it! We haven't made lists, but I know my husband has a crush on Carrie Byron on MythBusters. She just had a baby, and he went around telling people at work that he was mad because his girlfriend was pregnant, and the baby wasn't his. Johnny Depp would be on my list for sure.

Re: Swine Flu for Me and You? I was drawn in at the title and picture, because I am about ready to punch out some of the people I work with for their non-stop questions/comments: "you've dropped." "No, I haven't." "Yeah, you've dropped." or "You're still here?" "Still here?" "Still here?" GAAAAHHHHH! Anyway, I could not believe! You totally should have asked about the up-coming facelift and touched her face! How can a person NOT be embarassed after being told, "Uh, I'm not pregnant." I would have turned around and fled, probably crying, with a very red face (not that I would have asked the question in the first place!)

Re: Swine Flu for Me and You? Apparently OBGYN offices are high on the list for getting a supply. (I also got the regular flu shot.) So when I went in a couple weeks ago for a check up, the nurse asked if I wanted the H1N1 shot. A little confused, I reminded her that the Dr said FOR SURE. She replied, "Well, some people are opting not to." Ok, I knew it wasn't mandatory, but she sounded more than hesitant to give me the shot. She finally did, after giving me the information/waiver sheet, which listed all the regualr precautions when you get the regular flu shot. I had no problems.

Now I read that the shot is semi-experimental, and may contain mercury?!? So I am in a small-scale state of panic, thinking that I have FOR SURE brain damaged my baby or given him mercury poisoning. Seems like a no-win situation.

Re: My Google Reader Taunts Me

I often feel like I'm falling behind on all the on-line activities. I have a myspace and facebook account, but rarely check them. I have also been SOO bad about even reading the blogs from the small group of people I follow. I'm interested, I really am, but life and work and (stupid) chores get in the way. Then it's bedtime, then one week has gone by, then two...and soon just the thought of "getting caught up" in the blog world has become overwhelming!

Love the picture. I would chose a combination of all three characters. That way you get the most out of all available powers!

Re: Wordless Wednesday - Little Amber

Ha! I dream of being organized--each time I get a room clean, I think "I will keep it this way now." Right. I also like to listen more than I like to talk, especially around people I don't know well.

Re: Please excuse me while I let off a little steam...

Hmm, not good. I think 'fake' is the way many people live their lives.

We are irritated at my husband's mother right now: she and my sister-in-law are ALWAYS criticizing my husband's father for not stopping in to visit my sister-in-law's kids even though he has friends who live in the same part of town. Despite all of their talk, my husband's father visited us several times over the summer while his grandkids were at our house. My mother-in-law? Not once.

You can't fix people, only deal with them...and try not to kill or maim them if you can at all help it.

Re: Silly Hookers In The Rain pt. 2

Oh, my god, that is too funny! I love it! That crow guy is creepy. That 'No trespassing, no hunting, no fishing' sign should perhaps warn about 'crow disturbing' Very cool setting.
