Yocheved is quite talented!! Now that you mention it, it looks like marzipan. I think if I had my choice, this would be the perfect cake for me, too. Chocolate covered marzipan is the best! And now you have a DIL!!! Congratulations again.

I have this, too, for sure! I have gotten so that I only make items with 4 or fewer ends. It helps a little! The overalls are cute.

I was the same way yesterday. Couldn't keep my mind on what I was doing. Fortunately, I was not at the hospital! I spent part of the day at a local assisted living facility, taking a look around for a place for my mom, to get her out of her big old house. They were having a 9/11 memorial celebration, then a Grandparent's day celebration. Its a good thing they gave us a brochure because I have no memory of the prices they quoted us!

I love your new stitch pattern! It would make a beautiful baby blanket.

What is the pink stitching on the dress meant for? It looks like a spot to add a ruffle.

That purple did not want to be cabled! It looks like it would make a lovely hat, or mittens. The pink is a really nice color. So sorry you had to take a dip in the frog pond!

Be safe, and don't let them scare you into staying at home. Until just a couple of months ago, I would have recommended my rolling pin. It was marble. But I found out that marble breaks if you hit hard things with it. It hit the kitchen floor and cracked in half. But the thing weighed like 5 pounds, it would have made a great weapon. The DD's skirts are great. I made one for my niece's baby when she first started walking, she looked so sophisticated in it. Now she will be three next month. Maybe it is time for a new one. Especially now that she has gotten into dresses! Take care, you and yours.

Ohm my! I knew as soon as you said you had fallen asleep with your knitting in your hand. But I am glad that you rescued it without starting all the way over. Isn't the thought of weather cool enough to turn off the AC just delightful? That baby of yours is just too adorable! Even if she does mess up your knitting.

The picture of DD#5 is precious! And all that beautiful knitting you got done is amazing. I would love to make skirts like that for my grand nieces. They are not quite 3, and would love the twirly, lacey design. I hope you keep feeling well!
