You're welcome to comment, I just needed you to know that I don't necessarily agree with everything I post! This blog doesn't reflect my perosnal opinion unless it's something written by me. Sometimes I will post something because it strikes at something raw in me through language. Obviously it is a provocative quote and you had your own response to it, and it was interesting to hear your thoughts (which I mostly agree with).

Thanks for the lecture Roger (I do agree with you), but believe it or not, I don't actually agree with _every_ quote I post here. I posted a screenshot of this quote because the sentiment of someone on the ground expressed in that way really struck me.

Dana, this is a brilliant poem! I reblogged it from another Tumblr user. As you can see it has been reblogged 178 times by other Tumblr users, so it is obviously popular. There is a community of people sharing poetry they have read and loved on Tumblr. I am happy to correct it according to your website, or to remove it if you prefer. Yazeed I'm very sorry I offended you by sharing your beautiful video! I have thousands of followers here and I am sure you received many more "views" on YouTube because I posted it. I was so moved by it and I really wanted others to see it too. I will remove it ASAP (as soon as you've seen this comment), but you will also need to restrict sharing settings on the video on your YouTube channel, so it can't be re-shared by others. I gave full credit to you and a link back to your work so I truly meant no offence by sharing it. Tumblr is a micro-blogging platform that allows people to post and share content from other places on the web, and my policy is always to fully credit and link and remove if it is requested - so I will remove.

from our blood" The Tumblr http://indigenousdialogues.... is really great, if you're not following it yet, they are posting poems from the Poetry Translation Centre project. So many amazing poets I had never heard of, until following this Tumblr!
