Why would there be a struggle? She was unconscious, and this was demonstrated on the phone footage. And as she was unconscious, she could neither accept or decline. To say something can't be rape because no struggle was involved is, frankly, ludicrous.

And seriously? Why are you so desperate to defend a rapist? I can only assume you are either a relative/friend of his, or you do this kind of thing yourself.

She did not consent to have sex with Evans - there is phone footage of the event remember - therefore he did rape her, and he is a rapist.

Non-consensual sex is rape. Rape is a crime. This woman did not give her consent, ergo, she was raped. Sorry if that's a problem for you or anyone else who thinks it's ok to assault someone because they're too drunk to protest.

I boycott too, but it's hard because of the sheer number of products they produce. I think it's time the voluntary code was given some teeth and made law with fines, or even prison time for those who try to flout it.

I had a look at the Blog Hub site and discovered they have my blog listed there - I didn't add it - but no content. The interesting thing is the description they're using, it's not the one used on my blog, it's taken from Blogcatalog. BC is the only place I've listed my blog using that exact phrase. As far as I know BC are reputable, so I'm guessing these sploggy people are either copying their directory or pulling in the feeds from it.

I wish we had a similar movement here, but at the moment most people seem to be very apathetic.

Oh, and I know it's juvenile, but I can't help smirking when I hear those tea party people describe themselves as tea-baggers. They really didn't think that one through very well.

I don't usually eat pork (or much meat) but in future I plan to make an exception for pork chops and bacon. Revenge will be mine ....

I know what you mean about how quickly Christmas comes around - it really doesn't seem like a year since the last one. I suppose some would say that was a sign of getting old, but I suspect someone is tinkering with time, speeding it up. Do you think I should ask for a tin foil hat for Christmas?

Definitely staying away from two-legged pigs, had quite enough of those this year. Next year, any who decide to insinuate themselves into my life will be made into the aforementioned chops and thrown on the George Foreman grill.
