yeah the market's really slow atm....I don't think people are excited at the
thought of sales at all. how sad :(
checkin out your blogshop btw, liking the way it's presented...certainly
looks very different from alot of blogshops that i've seen out there. but
the pics are loading really slowly on my lousy broadband connection.

Oh yes, Freitag bags are made using those materials. And I do remember the
National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne embarking on the same concept
making bags from their old exhibition banners to sell as museum merchandise.

Definitely worth thinking about it. You wanna venture with me??

Good point actually on the slow decay. I'm warming up to the idea of hair
dipped in silver. Kinda like getting a tooth enamel or having a gold tooth.
Possibilities are endless. There's not much to be found on Polly's work
processes, but I'm harbouring images of teeth soaked in some bleaching /
cleansing solution like dettol before being cast into a silver framework.

Yeah, precisely. I like the idea of giving a piece of you to a special
someone. But teeth? I just hope it's brushed properly. lol!
Anyways, the designer is based in Melbourne. Probably worth having a look at
the real thing. Just not too sure where she exhibits her things.

No no, it's by this Melbournian designer. Apparently she did some postgrad
exhibition in RMIT. Amazing stuff isn't it?
