haha hey it’s all good. i totally now see that you’re not angered at it. the only reason i responded to your post in the first place was not because i was in any way offended, but merely because i was tickled at what seemed like a non-sarcastic yet apparently misleading post. i don’t care in the least about the whole Zooey thing and the whole movie thing and i didn’t mean to get you on the defensive. i was just responding the way a friend would, but unlike a friend I didn’t know you talk bitterly all the time so I guess I jumped to conclusions. luckily, I would assume, I’m not an ultimate 500 Days/Zooey fan. had someone else read that, a maelstrom of an internet fight surely would have followed haha.

i regret even responding as this is a textbook case of misunderstanding and if there’s anything i hate in life its misunderstandings. and they’re funny, in their own little ways. the shields are always up and the words are often abundant yet muffled, so one person is hearing the other but not really hearing them, which then causes the misunderstanding to grow and grow and grow until eventually someone gets beaten up or a friendship is severed for no good reason. but i now know your rants in which you refer to fans of a movie as ‘assholes’ aren’t really rants but just the way you talk hahah. sorry for jumping the gun. my fault.

Hey Doreen,
I've since then finished Suikoden II and absolutely loved it, but I bought Suikoden V about a week ago and it's completely blowing me away. I'm so glad it's essentially like Suikoden I and II, just 3D and with a few differences. The story is great and it's wonder to find out about what happened in Falena before I and II. So much history. I've also been obsessed with reading the Suikoden Wiki. Great stuff. And of course Suikosource and Suikox have been fun to read up on as well. I wanna pick up Tierkreis sometime soon, but I'm definitely picking up Suikoden III tomorrow. Won't start it until after V. Or maybe I'll just play an hour or two just to get the vibe of it haha.
Anyway, V is incredible so far. Makes me wanna play I and II again. 1 especially.

Many may have already stated the opposite but you will want to read this after the film since it's already 22 years too late and one day too late simultaneously.
You will probably like the movie but you will most definitely love the book.
Read it after.

I was too young, and at one point not even born, when they were playing and recording in the 80's and when they went big with the good Mother's Milk, the incredibly great Blood Sugar Sex Magik and the okay One Hot Minute, so Californication and watching the video for "Scar Tissue" on MTV in the summer 1999 is what got me into them, specifically speaking. It is indeed a pretty good record.

That said, I highly suggest you listen to Blood Sugar, which is not as accessible (at least not in the way that Californication is) but is full of heartfelt, funky, soulful, incredible sounds and words and beauty all around.

Check out the film "Funky Monks" as well.

The brown cordoroy with the sheepskin within looks like a typical slip on and i wanted one around december because it reminded me of my moccasin slip ons. hardly anything to do with """"hipster's'"""' (excessive quotations marks for excessively meaningless word)
