Is it too early to draft Michele Bachmann for President? She has been the only politican I've seen challenge the Obama machine on constitutional grounds and seems to have the fortitude to stand against this "change" that the current administration is trying to ram down our throats like bad medicine.

What part of "shall not be infringed" does Bill not understand? I'm fairly sure a Supreme Court ruling came out against the actions of the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana on this. Besides the fact over half of the NOPD's officers deserted their posts and left law abiding citizens with no protection from the criminals. Get a life and an education Bill.

It has to be something in the water over at MSNBC, thats the only reason I can figure for the widespread hate that flows from most of the talking heads that want to be the "Beck" or "Hannity" of the left. Although in all the time I have been following Beck I don't ever remember him shouting a guest down. One more observation, the individual seen at the opening of the clip is a so called hate group investigator for the Southern Poverty Law Center, He has been making the rounds of the news shows making statements against the Tea Party and OathKeepers ,labeling them as hate groups. It seems the left will indeed go to all lengths to discredit Americans who want their country back.

I have seen the Canadian system up close and personal its not pretty, so when a government official comes here for medical care it does'nt suprise me in the slightest. I would say to those enamored of government run systems to move to a country that offers it, my younger brother worked in England for a number of years he described the medical care there as a strong arguement to seek out a witch doctor and take your chances rather than check into an English hospital.

After following this story and reading the reaction of those that would blame Beck for Medina's poor showing, I offer the following. First, if Medina was so naive as to not have any idea of what kind of questions Glenn might ask perhaps she had no business running for office in the first place. I mean anyone who has watched his show or listened to him on the radio would know he has repeatedly stated he does not endorse candidates,so logically if you are going on his show you had better have your ducks in a row. Politics are a hardball sport so if you are going to step up you have to expect everything and prepare for anything. Just a thought.

Actually Mike he had both the Tea party candidate and the Republican candidate in California. Perhaps Medina, like many other politicans, is the one who is not what she claims to be. The only thing I have heard Glenn Beck claim to be was an entertainer. Our own Senator Max Baucaus has turned out to be something other than he claimed.

I think that the main problem with interpeting religious texts is the tendancey to overlook the context in which they were written. We see this all the time in fundamentalist movements in all three religions, you get a charismatic leader who takes a passage without understanding it's historical context putting his own flawed interpetation on it. His adherents, who believe in his wisdom take it as "gospel", well we've all seen how that plays out.

Tyler I agree with most of what you're saying, on the three SEALS I would like to point out that they chose to have their case heard before a general courtmartial. They can defend themselves, present evidence and be represented by legal consule,as opposed to a Captian's mast which essentially pleading guilty and accepting company punishment.

Something of interest I've come across since the whole debate about terrorists and how to classify them started. I keep hearing and reading about the Geneva conventions being brought into the debate on the wrong side. According to the conventions and the International Rules for Soldiers, these individuals fall outside of the protections granted by both to soldiers, like mercanaries. They do not wear a uniform to identify themselves, they hide behind civilians as well as carry out attacks on non-combatants. Solution?, kill them in the field, once brought to American soil they do, unfortunately or not (depends on your point of view)recieve protections under the US Constitution. I agree with Ron Paul on the point of assassination of American citizens, if they are killed on the battlefield, oh well, but if captured bring them here, "fairly tried,fairly judged and fairly hung".

Okay I watched part 2 of the Beck video three times and I did not hear him refer to Wilders as a facist. He does talk about how things have historicaly gone in Europe in regards to political extremes. Hitler was not a pure facist he blended parts of socialism and bits of facism. If you want to look at facism in Europe Mussolini's Italy is the place to go. Is Wilders a facist? I don't believe he is, from doing a bit of research on his position I might call him a extreme nationist. Which actually is one trait of facists,but I don't believe he is one. Is there an insidious plot at Fox News? Sorry, I can't buy that based on a couple of guest commentators. You will need more than that to prove that theory. Every network has its loons.

Here is something to think about Glenn Beck is not a Republican,he is a Libertarian, he has stated this over and over on both CNN and Fox. Yes he is a Christian and makes no secret of it, but try as you might you are not going to agree him all the time,especially if you are a hard right Republican. By the way Senator Goldwater was a Libertarian as well, which implies a firm belief in The Constitution as it was written as to how our Republic is supposed to function. If you disagree with what Beck has to say call him up on his radio show and tell him about. But to start a "witch hunt" because you either disagree with or don't understand what he said puts you in the same category as the bloggers on the left or nut jobs like this AresXIV. Just a thought.

Another crusade? Is that not what got this whole mess started? Wholesale slaughter, that will certainly solve it won't it? I agree this was a horrific incident, but what you suggest would engulf the world in blood and fire...Or is that your aim in the first place? I'm not sure what form of Christianity you practice but it differs completely from the form I was raised in, one of tolerance,peace and leaving God's judgement to God.

All this makes me so glad I live in the mountains of Montana, however I will be stocking up on more than just food. Seems like things could get real ugly real fast and I hope they do not go that way,but it's just common sense to prepare for the worst.

Actually prices of firearms and ammo along with the sales were and are still to a degree being driven by a fear that this administration is going to target our second amendment rights. One example is Mayor Bloomberg of NYC trying to goad the President into enacting more federal restrictions on firearms,another is unscrupulous dealers whipping up fears that more bans are coming. I do however,resent your use of the term "gun nuts" Tyler, in referring to those of us who choose to exercise our right under the second amendment.
