Omg I read the whole thing and I have no idea how the DOT has blown everything into proportion! And as a foreigner, i think you got everything correct especially how connections will GET you anywhere. It happens everywhere but most especially in the Philippines. It's probably rooted in our culture to favor a close someone instead of the best. It's the utang na loob thing that I hope we Filipinos get rid of (but not entirely). It's like we have a debt culture. HAAY.

But what irks me the most is the feeling that you had NO freedom of speech. This is crazy. I am so sorry for what you had to go through. I've never heard of something so crazy like this until now. Especially when it comes to tourism. We love people to come explore our country and I always promote it everywhere we go. Thank you so much for what you have done for us by promoting everything good

I do hope the new government hears about this and will do something about it. Duterte is a man of action and we need more action than words.

I will continue reading your posts. Thank you for being so honest and caring about the Philippines.

Wonderful post about Japan! 8 out of 10 friends who've been there tell me it's their favorite country in the world! They said similar things that you mentioned in the post. I am most excited about the food in Tokyo. So excited!

Is the Robot show really worth it? I couldn't get a seat in a restaurant I was aiming for so was thinking if I should just go here with my friend.

Agree that Thailand is cheap! Was browsing some hotels and I was like, WOW these are so cheap! Cheaper than here in Manila.

Trust me though, traffic in Manila is worse. There are no calm persons driving around in this city. NO ONE.

Didn't know tuktuks are more expensive! Will note.

Hi Nichole! I love how your blog looks and your MOTD! I suck at makeup but am loving my new skincare routine that I learned from my friend who we fondly call, the Skin Goddess. I like my face to look nice with and without makeup.

Those goals! Kinda same ones that I have. Haven't been getting enough sleep as well! Need to sleep early and wake up early. Same sentiments, I hate waking up late because so much time for productivity is lost. Dieting is also part of my goals. I need abs this year! HAHAH Need xD

I'm lost on how to utilize Pinterest. I have one but not sure how to get more followers. Hope you can make a post on this. :)

And I live in a super warm tropical country... I wish for spring and autumn all the time! I've experienced Winter and I do know how hard it is. I used to love it because of the snow but then I found out there are different types of snow. Yikez! hahaa Magic is now gone. I do love the snow that you can build Snowmen on. haha
