I want to know more about this "circular resonator vs rectangular or square." I was under the impression that a rectangular resonator would yield a better sound over all because of a larger surface area as compared to a circle? But your point about enhancing the fundamental makes much more sense!!! Why would companies invest in non-circular resonators on the low end of the board if it doesn't produce the purest tone?</p><p>Very hip topic with the "getting to know your marimba."</p><p>I follow you on twitter, jwilliamson1987, and I will help in any way with promoting PATV.
