I found a forum post (&lt;a href="http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-745383.html)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-745383.html)"&gt;http://forums.macrumors.com...&lt;/a&gt; that seems to say that pdp_ip0 is Edge and pdp_ip1 is 3G. To be honest though I care far more about free (as in freedom to access) internet than TV any day.  I could probably live without any TV and just read and use the internet.
