I had a poodle named charlie. I had him. 11 years and sobbed so hard when he had to leave us. They truly are family in every sense of the word.

I sent all my kids the link when they were on sale black friday told them how cheap it would be if each of the five of them put in toward the gift for me.. and got all kinds of smart remarks back- so..... yup... it would be all mine!

Figures. Hubby was only out of work a few months and his cut off. Due to the fact he had been unemployed for a few months over a year before. He still hasn't found work. I make Five dollars too much to get assistance with food. We have cut everything we could. My husband worked for 30 years without using unemployment benefits at all!!! Sure doesn't seem fair at all.

Enjoyed your post. Had a similar thing happen to our wipers once. I stopped at a local gas station and applied rainx to the windows. that stuff works great. Thanks for the reminder not to grumble. :)

This was actually our plan once all kids graduated high school. My youngest daughter graduates next month. We were planning on getting an RV and seeing the country. Hubby does tree work and could transfer every few months and that way we could see our country. Notice my use of the word "were" and "was". Two years ago I found out I was expecting a baby!!! So... the last kid graduating is now about 16 years away! We are debating homeschooling and doing it anyways... our older kids protest now because we will be taking their baby brother away. lol

My son is still on his at 15 months. I had wanted him off it but his daddy keeps giving it to him. My oldest daughter got rid of hers just before she was 2. We were down to one and her daddy accidentally left it in his pocket when he went to work (he was working nights). I told her "oh no! it went to work with daddy!" she whimpered a bit but went to sleep so the next night I had it in the kitchen drawer as back up and just said "oh, I forgot to get it from daddy." She asked for it one more night and we were done. My other son sucked his thumb, can't take that away but he was pretty easy to wean from it. I was able to get the bottle away just before a year old... now the paci has to go...

You need flylady. www.flylady.net or find her on facebook. Her motto "a load a day keeps mount washmore away" I like that and it's true. But doing a load of laundry means COMPLETELY doing it. Wash, dry, put away. It really does work!
