honestly you can't trust blanket advice from anyone else when it comes to your own kid - my suggestion would be just TRY it for a night in her bed and if she sleeps, well great!! and if she doesn't, then readjust. but don't assume it's going to go badly - some babies just don't mind certain transitions at all.
as for the rice cereal thing - i've heard WAY more people tell me that that's bogus than people who say that is true. i think it's some old wisdom that has fallen by the wayside. if she's breastfeeding, she doesn't need cereal in her bottle. maybe she needs another feeding? but that i can't really say. you definitely, definitely don't have to rush cereal though, i can promise you that.

my favorite article of clothing was a swingy teal skirt and a matching teal sweater that i had in maybe fifth grade? it was my FAVORITE color and i loved to twirl and twirl in that flowy skirt!
