The Avengers roster was, more or less, a total nonfactor throughout the X Men dominated 90's. The book didn't make a proper return to relevance until Ultimates and Avengers: Disassembled. So yeah, for a while Jubilee was probably was ranked over Tony Stark- especially when Generation X was one of Marvel's top books.

I also love that her 'fuck everyone!' pep to her friend is so clearly self serving. That friendship/mentor role just makes her feel like less of a monster.
